Moreover, we revel in post-occupancy data to verify performance, validate designs and foment learning. Our expertise is in both existing building efficiency improvements and new building design innovation. 

We provide STRATEGIC FRONT END DESIGN, considering the whole design problem from the outset and providing widely integrative solutions. We carefully consider occupant comfort, accessibility, implementation effort, and maintenance cost to determine the most appropriate solution.

Making low energy, sustainable buildings and systems affordable is the key to widespread adoption.  In a determined and focused approach, we bring CREATIVITY TO PROJECT COSTS. We work with building owners and developers to achieve optimal solutions that maximize ROI. The key is to downsize equipment through better design decisions, in order to create smaller, highly optimized and affordable systems.

Leadership

In 2014, Peter Rumsey started Point Energy Innovations with a mission and business model to drive building MEP systems to new levels of performance and cost effectiveness. 

As of 2023 Point Energy Innovations announced a transition within the company, with Rami Moussa and Alyse Falconer promoted to Managing Principals of Point Energy Innovations. Peter Rumsey’s role continues as the Founding Partner, allowing him to both actively consult with clients and projects while also giving him more time for his teaching pursuits.
